PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE PROCEEDING
To participate, the volunteer must be:
- 12 to 18 years
- Able to attend a minimum of six court evenings during a 12-month period. Court is held at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings each month, from 5 to 8:15 pm
> RETURNING Teen Volunteers: Select Log In at top right corner of page to update your Information for the new year.
> NEW Teen Volunteers (including previous juvenile offenders): Select Register at top right corner of page to create your account and begin your application.
When creating your account:
- DO NOT SELECT the option to create your account using a Social Media account.
- Use a personal email address that will accept communications from this site. Many school-based email addresses are restricted so please do not use this type of email.
- Emails from our system will come from noreply@mail.smapply.net as "Assistance League of Charlotte." Please add this address to your email provider's Safe Sender list to assure you receive communications from this site. You can easily do that by entering the address into your Contacts. Remember to check your Junk or Spam Folders for our emails.
- Passwords must be 8 characters and include at least ONE:
- Uppercase letter
- Lower case letter
- Number
- Special character
- Don't forget to write down your account email address and password as you will need it.
- PARENTS: If you are creating this account, please use your CHILD'S NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS, not your own. If you choose to use your email account then YOU are responsible for all communications that we send to your volunteer. The student volunteer will also need this account email address and associated password for recording their attendance each court night.
